Persistence of vision, also known as retinal persistence, is the phenomenon where the human eye continues to perceive an image for a brief period (approximately 1/16th of a second) after the object has been removed from view. This effect allows the brain to create the illusion of motion by quickly displaying a series of slightly different images, as seen in animation and motion pictures.

Science park equipment related to mass and inertia often includes models and demonstrations that showcase the principles of inertia, which is the resistance of an object to changes in its motion. These exhibits help explain how an object's mass affects its inertia, demonstrating that more massive objects require more force to start or stop moving. Science parks might offer interactive displays, such as rolling balls on inclined planes, where the effects of inertia and friction can be observed

Newton's Color Disc is a demonstration device used to show that white light is composed of multiple colors. It's a circular disc with segments painted in different colors, usually the seven colors of the rainbow (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, violet). When the disc is rotated rapidly, the individual colors blend together, and the disc appears to be white or off-white. This demonstrates the concept of temporal optical mixing, where the eye perceives the rapid succession of colors as a single, blended color.
